Our Account Management suite offers a variety of electronic bill presentment and payment services that give our customers control over invoice receipt and payment options and can help reduce Accounts Payable costs.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) allows the exchange of business documents in a digital format. Computer-to-computer document processing helps eliminate the cumbersome and error-prone process of converting hard-copy documents to computer-readable formats.
Purchase Order, Invoice, and Payment documents represent the core of the business environment and the bulk of the manual processes that divert time and manpower from other tasks. Specification documents are available to the left.
Besides EDI, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) can also provide productivity enhancements. EFT allows you to provide payment and remittance information electronically, with settlement taking place when you direct it. To establish a payment and remittance process, please begin by contacting your bank. Include the Invoice Numbers and their corresponding amounts with the electronic payment. The bank can electronically send this data using an encrypted CTX file format.
Xerox adheres to the X12 format of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). ANSI X12, as adopted by Xerox, provides a complete and accurate presentation of the elements necessary to accomplish the respective business process. If the EDI Version of the standards shown is not compatible with your current EDI capability, we will be happy to provide the version you require.
In the Trading Partner Specifications, you will see that Xerox utilizes the Sterling Commerce Value-Added Network (VAN) but is capable of interconnecting to virtually any VAN you may choose.
We at Xerox look forward to a long and beneficial trading partnership with you and your company. We hope to hear from you soon.
